CLEREFLO M 150-600
The Clereflo 150-600 is another significant development by EPS Bison. The latest model M Range is an advanced range of packaged sewage treatment systems. The Clereflo M 150-600 are specifically designed for ‘mid range’ applications and represent a major breakthrough in performance and technology.

The system achieves the 20:30 (mg-l BOD:SS) standard on discharges and is designed for installation completely below ground.

Typical applications include all types of commercial, leisure, industrial and housing development projects, where access to mains drainage is not an option.

The Clereflo M 150-600 offers significant and unique features and benefits including high-performance, proven technology and quality assurance to BS EN ISO9001:2000 design and build.

The Process
• Combines all treatment processing within a GRP modular tank system, comprising separate Primary settlement tank and combined biological and final settlement tank
• Choice of two system types:
• Standard: for normal discharge consents of 20/30 (mg/l BOD/SS)
• Nitrification: for tertiary treatment up to and including 5 mg/l ammonia standard
• Designed to combine conventional settlement stages (primary and humus settlement) with submerged aerated filter (SAF) technology as the main biological process
• Incoming Sewage is separated and stored in the first section of the primary settlement tank, allowing only settled liquor to pass forward for biological treatment
• The biological treatment stage comprises two separate zones in series, both using submerged aerated filter technology and the well-known jet aeration system - the VENTFLO inductor
• The first biological stage treats the majority of the carbonaceous load, resulting in a low loading rate for the second stage and a subsequent high overall removal rate
• Biomass (humus solids) sloughed from the submerged media is separated in the final humus settlement stage and returned intermittently by pump, to the primary stage for co-settlement
